In our opinion, one of the best solutions for a coffee table. These are really pieces to "put a drink down and your feet up". We use reclaimed or antique Walnut, Oak and Pinewood that is treated, restored, and then custom fitted on a solid and very heavy handmade steel base in a small forge near our village. We also make console tables, dining tables and side as well as bedside tables in this style. They look slim and elegant, but they are very solid. Combine these with a Seagrass Rug, two antique Armchairs in a neutral linen and a modern slipcovered sofa and you have a stylish and children- friendly drawing room.
